| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear, very bubbly, deep ruby-orange with an average size off-white head. Aroma’s sweet and spicy along with caramel malt, traces of chocolate, light hops and some toastiness -- not bad at all. Flavour’s malty and spicy along with alcohol, fruit and a decent bitter finish. Medium bodied. Better then I expected this to be, a decent Xmas Strong Ale. beerlord (215), tonawanda, New York, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 27, 2007 on tap at market cross, Shippensburg: Nose is full or toasty malt character, no hop presence in the nose, and maybe a hint of tofee. came off the tap dark amber, but not quite brown and transparent with a thin film of head. Flavor was quite nice and toasty, with a slighty roasted edge and loads of malt flavors. hops kicked in in the finish and provided a nice balance and addicting tinge of bitterness, very clean flavor no yeast flavors detected. mouthfeel was medium bodied, normal amount of carbonation. quite tasty blipp (1703), Newark, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Pours dark brown with a small off white head that leaves a small amount of lacing. Aroma is very sweet and malty. The taste is very sweet as well, with a strange taste accompanying it that seems to be in every Wild Goose beer I have tried. Very decent for the price.
