Commercial Description:
This seasonal favorite is a tawny gold ale, clean, crisp and refreshing, with a spicy, aromatic finish from Noble, Saaz and Hallertauer hops. It is bolder than traditional Weizen beers and hoppier than maibocks.

Not up to their usual standards. Crisp enough, but too watery. Strangely missing the expected strong wheat presence.

This seemed more like a summer ale - lacked most ’wheat’ characteristics. Thad would be o.k. but it had a weird fruity/sweetness that did not go well with the hop. odd.

This wheat is a bit on the bitter side. Not bad, not great. A hophead’s wheat beer. Not what I was looking for on a 98 degree (F) day.

This beer is undermined by its unsure nature...imparts hints of clove, corainder, banana, and bubblegum, but is one-dimensional and does not explroe the depth of these flavors. May be a nice start for transitioning a coors-lover, but not something I would seek intentionally.

Golden coloured. Crystal malt flavour, clean with some bitterness. Not much wheat character.

Nice light wheat beer for late spring or early summer. Sweet, fruity notes come through from the ale yeast and the tangy hops set things in the right direction. Weizen beers aren’t my favorite style but this one is a good strong example. Cheers!

Sweet, bland, and characterless. Avoid.
