one of the more bizarre ideas for a beer that i encountered in america. i was wondering how they would translate koelsch dryness into a beer of such strenght but it seems like they didn´t worry too much about that. big metho aroma, some melon and tinniness and raw alcohol finish

This is the best Kolsch I’ve had-----Ever! I mean most Kolsch beer you can get around the northwest are kind of weak this is actually called a imperial Kolsch, its got 8.5% alcohol, I’m a Grants Pass native and ran into a keg of this limited addition brew and a friends birthday party, its good stuff and will get you loaded in a hurry, love it, try Double Eagle stout, its great as well.

Tap@Wild river, Cave Junction, Oregon. Never had a double kolsch before. A sweet malty beer. Melony, peachy. Theres flavour in here, and a fair shot of raw alcohol in the finish too. Not sure if i liked it too much.
