Commercial Description:
A medium bodied wheat ale, contains 4.5% alcohol by volume, and has a distinctive red color from a compliment of caramel malt. Its well balanced character and clean, light finish make it a very approachable beer.

(Draught) Sampled on February 10, 2008, at the brewpub. Clear golden body with a lasting white frothy head. Interesting nose and flavour - similar to an Irish red malt. Very good.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy amber color. Light caramel aroma, and strong caramel flavor, with some wheat character, correct body strength and bitterness. A quite good (dry) dunkelweizen.

[792-20071102] Tap @ Wild Rose (Calgary, AB). Malty yeast aroma. Clear, dark amber body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Flavour has some generic fruit, some yeast and some malt. Medium body. Nice mild beer.

Reddish-orangish-brown colour with a small head. Aroma is grainy and wheaty with a slight sweetness. Medium body. Pleasant flavour - fairly malty off the top, with some wheaty bitterness in the middle, and a slightly tart/sour finish. It’s a stretch to call this a hefe, but it’s a decent enough beer.

Draft at the brewpub. Dark amber-copper body with a small white head. Wheaty, grassy aroma with a hint of peed-on-straw (not in an unpleasant way per se, but thats what came to mind). Pleasant mild bitterness throughout with a wheaty tang. Average palate. Pleasant. 6/3/7/3/13+
