Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Sep 13, 2005 Very pale yellow. Quite cloudy. Fairly non-descript with a little wheaty tartness and very light but clean pale maltiness. Why do brewers make so many of these characterless beers? fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 5, 2008 Draught at the brewery
Cloudy blond color. Some wheat character, very light aroma (citrusy), very light coriander, quite bitter at the end. Nothing special. tiggmtl (4178), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Dec 17, 2007 Wheat is tart beneath light citrus (lemon) aroma. Hazy while/yellow coloured body is topped by a low white head that lasts well. Wheat and citrus continues in the flavour - both are mild and bitterness is subdued. Aimed for a mass market appeal I’d guess and probably right on for the target. Medium light body has fair to moderate carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewery tap room. JoeMcPhee (3899), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Mar 19, 2005 From a massive 1L bottle. Cloudy pale yellow beer, thick white head. Aroma is quite dusty, light spice, wheaty and citrusy. Flavour is light wheat, spice and lemony citrus. Quite refreshing and well done. Braudog (3464), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates May 18, 2007 Bottle: Fizzy and fuzzy golden yellow, with a bubbly top. Wheaty, gristy aroma in a nice wheat-ale way. Smooth, almost milky. Gristy to be sure though. Lemon, bread, esthers ... all there. Good american wheat. (#2894, 5/15/2007)
