Beershine (1440), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 21, 2007 Sampled at GCBF in 2001. Has a nice soft mouthfeel. Tastes pleasantly hoppy but also a tad on the sour side, which is strange. Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Sep 13, 2005 Very hazy amber. Light but juicy (blackberry) hop aroma. Fresh, breezy bitter, well balanced with a light, juicy acidity and mild (~25 IBUs) hoppiness and fresh, sweet malt. Finally, a beer billed as being "English-style" that actually is. Solid effort. Fiend (104), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Aug 19, 2005 Copper color with a whip cream like head. It had a light caramel aroma similar to other Wildwood beers I’ve tried. Bitter hop flavor with a good alcohol kick finish. Hooker (444), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Dec 13, 2004 called James Anderson’s Signature Red when I had it at GCBF ’04. Clear light amber colour. no head to speak of. yeast nose with mild malt tones. dry yeasty taste with slight malt overtones. not what I expect from an ESB TimE (1037), Tokyo, Japan Apr 28, 2004 Which is copper colour, little to no carbonation, beautiful fruity nose, sweet bitter after taste.
