Oct 21, 2007 Sampled at GCBF in 2001. Has a nice soft mouthfeel. Tastes pleasantly hoppy but also a tad on the sour side, which is strange.

Sep 13, 2005 Very hazy amber. Light but juicy (blackberry) hop aroma. Fresh, breezy bitter, well balanced with a light, juicy acidity and mild (~25 IBUs) hoppiness and fresh, sweet malt. Finally, a beer billed as being "English-style" that actually is. Solid effort.

Aug 19, 2005 Copper color with a whip cream like head. It had a light caramel aroma similar to other Wildwood beers I’ve tried. Bitter hop flavor with a good alcohol kick finish.

Dec 13, 2004 called James Anderson’s Signature Red when I had it at GCBF ’04. Clear light amber colour. no head to speak of. yeast nose with mild malt tones. dry yeasty taste with slight malt overtones. not what I expect from an ESB
