Clear orange pour. Fair amount of hops on the nose. Pretty dry taste. Hops linger for a bit and then fade. Aftertaste is a mixture of floral hops and detergent.

Draught at the brewpub
Copper color; creamy head. It has a light but nice fruity hop aroma. Good body strength, good malt and caramel flavor, with a strong hopping, both fruity and resiny. Long final. Very well brewed, enjoyable, finally here I see all the hops that I didn’t find elsewhere in Alberta.

(Draught) Sampled on February 8, 2008, at the brewpub. Thin, white lasting head with a deep golden body. Nose and flavour of decent English hops, minor fruit and marshmallow.

[820-20071105] Tap @ Wildwood (Calgary, AB). Sweet grapefruit citrus hops aroma. Clear, orange amber body with a medium-lasting foamy white head and nice lacing. Bitter citrus lemon and grapefruit hops and some grainy malt. Medium body is astringent. Nice pale ale, just enough bitter and flavour to make an impression.

Half pint served in an Alt glass. Light citrus and grassy hops blend nicely with grainy malts in the nose. Cleaar deep copper coloured body is topped by a decent, fine bubbled, off white head that recedes to a lasting cover with excellent lacing. Pleasant balance between toasty, biscuity, grainy malt character that offers a round sweetness and moderate bitterness. Citrus character is lingering in the aftertaste. Medium body with fair to moderate carbonation that engages the tongue but isn’t overly filling. I could easily drink a lot of this! Sampled on tap at the restaurant and brewpub.

Draft at the brewpub. Copper amber body, creamy off white head. (3+) Good amount of hoppy bitterness, decent resin and melange of citrus notes. Hoppy aroma, mild resin and muted citrus. Pretty solid pale ale.

Draft pint at the brewpub; Reddish amber and quite still, with just a smidgen of lace. The aroma is great! ... very perfumey, floral and inviting. On the tongue, it’s good, but doesn’t quite live up tot he nose. Smooth and velvety, lightly fruity, but has a sugary aspect that seems "Fruit Loppy." (#2874, 5/13/2007)
