nuplastikk (1159), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jul 25, 2009 12oz bottle. Filtered yellowish copper color with a nice white head that settles out pretty fast. Lots of CO2 bubbles. Crisp sweet aroma. Somewhere between light and medium bodied, with a solid bitter edge. Not particularly as clean as you might like it to be, with some corny sweetness in the finish. Overall though, this is still a pretty good product. esjaygee (1467), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Jun 22, 2008 Golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of grassy hops and corn. Taste is more of the same with a mild bitter finish. Crisp and bland, I’m just not a Pilsener man. BDR (2139), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Mar 27, 2008 Thanks to Skyview for sharing this tasty pils. Gold body with faint head. Corn and faint hops on the aroma. Slightly bitter taste with more corn, malt and hops. JK (2945), Richfield, Minnesota, USA Dec 21, 2007 This is a nice pils. Gold color and moderate hop aroma, with malt and hop flavor. Mild bitterness. badgerben (3584), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Dec 20, 2007 Thanks to Skyview for getting this for the group. I finally get my hands on one! Gold color with no head. Light aroma of corn and Noble hop. Taste is slightly bitter. Dusty earth finish. Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Nov 25, 2007 Picked up single 12-oz bottle at Brennan’s Country Farm Market in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden pale blonde brew with a creamy and fast dissolving white head. Nice lacing for a pilsener brew. Aroma of white bread grain malt, a touch of grassy hops, and some light pear fruitiness. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation, fruity, with some white bread and citrus zest. Finish is slightly bitter, a touch of lemon zest, metallic texture and a light biscuit & pear aftertaste. GeneralGao (3051), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Oct 19, 2007 12 oz bottle. Tasted this one side by side with it’s cousin, Capital’s Special Pilsener. Poured a clear golden color. The head was white and fluffy with decent retention that matched it’s cousin. The aroma was not quite as nice. There was only some husky grain and white bread. It lacked the noble hop nose of the Special Pilsener. It was delicately sweet on the tognue with mild hop bitterness. Flavor was similar to the aroma, just a bit of cereal grain with a touch of light grassy hops. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: William Brennan’s Golden Pils
