Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
A rich dark ale, dominated by the strong flavours of blended roast malts that are the foundation of this beer. Smooth coffee and chocolate undertones are complemented by the addition of late harvest cone hops, giving a lovely blackcurrant aroma.

Bottle Dec 05, Almost black in color small off white head, nice roasted malt and chocolatey flavours but whilst quite decent overall I found it a bit thin and nothing out of the ordinary.

Deep brown colour with a small beige head. Impressive aroma with loads of roasted malts, chocolate, and coffee. Initial flavour is sweet, followed by hints of blackcurrants and a dry medium bitter finish. Body is thin (as the ABV suggests).

Almost pitch black, with some tawny tints, the off white head dies quite fast but a thin layer remains. There is a rich aroma of roasted malt, the typical coffee/dark chocolate notes are all there. Remarkably smooth and malty, with a subtle spicy feel to the finish. A cracker!

Bottle. Nice flavour i have to say, but it comes across a a bit too light. Nice subtle roasted malt characters, chocolate, as well as some hoppy fruitiness in the finish, pleasant, but light.
