Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, flowers, citrus - grapefruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (020808)

Aug 6, 2008 Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, some wood and dark dry fruits. Flavour is much the same. Quite bittery fruity finish.

Sep 8, 2008 Bottle from Sainsbury. Golden, lots of carbonation. Thick lasting ivory head. Attractive grassy hop aroma. It’s ok in mouth. Like a hundred other golden ales, grassy hop, some lemon on finish. Decent hop and lemon curd on finish. Bit better than average.

Clear golden color, small steady white head. Light citrus hoppy, honeyish nose with notes of clovers. Crisp carbonation. Honeyish malty flavor, aftertaste has typical British hoppy bitterness. Probably wheat softens the palate a bit. Standard session golden ale, let’s say: "not bad".

Bright gold with a good white head. Really good bitter hoppage with a reasonable malty back bone. Bitter throughout right the way to the grapefruit finish. Very one dimensional but tasty and drinkable.

Pours a fine, clear golden with a medium, frothy, white head. Aroma has a whole lot of pine, light grass and some yeasty notes. Lowish carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour is a bit weak compared to the aroma. Good hoppiness though, some light dryness. But it lacks some maltiness.
