Fin (3376), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Sep 1, 2009 Bottle that was kindly passed onto me by Craig, consumed in a field at Towersey Festival, Oxon, 31-08-09 Pours gold with a small white head. The aroma much like the other three was lacking and made identification really difficult, I suppose the only saving grace for me was that I got some citrus notes from this but still got the hop wrong. This tasted ok but much like the other three this was an uninteresting base beer the hops were not that easily identifiable, much like the rest of our group I did shockingly bad and registered 0/4 A6 A3 F5 P3 Ov11 2.8 thewolf (5623), Kolding, Denmark Aug 2, 2009 Bottle, bought @ Cornelius, Edinburgh.
Pours hazy golden with a small, fizzy, white head. Aroma is lightly spicy, lemons a grapefruity. Highish carbonation, a bit thin. Flavour is softly sweet, light grapefruit and lightly spicy. Okay bitter finish. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Jul 13, 2009 Bottle 330ml. [ As Hop Quiz #1 ]. Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, dusty hops, keller, light perfume. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. My guess went for the Styrian Golding. [20090620] Maria (6056), Thisted, Denmark Jun 26, 2009 Courtesy of Fonefan. It is golden with a white head. The aroma is fruity hoppy with notes of citrus and peach. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of citrus, fruit, hints of spruce and an OK bitterness. oh6gdx (8795), Vasa, Finland Jun 21, 2009 Bottled@Fonefan.
