Bottle that was kindly passed onto me by Craig, consumed in a field at Towersey Festival, Oxon, 31-08-09 Pours gold with a medium white head. Another of this foursome with an aroma that was sadly lacking and made for difficult guesswork. I detected some tropical fruits in this one which was rather a shame as none of the four hops should have had anything like that going on in reality. The beer itself tasted ok, reasonable bitterness, with the same sweetness as the others though this was tempered a little more so this time by that bitterness. Not that impressive and another failure on Fins part to identify the hop I guessed Styrian on the basis that there was no hop that actually semed to link in with what I detected, as already mentioned I got a grand 0/4 A6 A3 F6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Bottle, bought @ Cornelius, Edinburgh.
Pours hazy golden with a small, fizzy, white head. Aroma is lightly citric and quite bready. Mouthfeel somehow feels better than the other three, probably because of a heavier bittering hop. Flavour is light citric, grassy and piney. Definately the most bitter of the four. I guessed Styrian.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Hop Quiz #4 ].
Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, keller - earthy, light to moderate hoppy, grass, hoppy dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090620]

Bottled. Hazy golden colour with white small head. Aroma was malts, some quite fruity notes as well as earthyness and hay. Flavour is quite much the same along with some mild grassyenss.

Courtesy of Fonefan. It is hazy golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, dusty hay and grass. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of straw, grass, caramel and a nice bitterness.

Bottle at home along side the other 3 in the set. Really pleased that i managed to work out which hop was which before i scratched off the answer... Golden amber ...ligth lemon nose ... light fruit ... light dry clean ... crisp ... quite non descript ... light peppery ... a lager hop ?
