Commercial Description:
Bottled, filtered and pasturised.
Midnight Sun is a black porter style beer, created from a blend of malted barley, oats, roasted barley and chocolate malt, balanced with a generous handful of hops and a wee bit of fresh root ginger. We really like it and hope you do too!

The winner of the 2008 Tesco award fro porters and stouts. Dark almost translucent black with a fine tan head, up front coffee on the nose and espresso following on behind with an almost burnt texture. A fine beer

500ml Bottle from Tesco, the 2008 winner in the porters and stouts in the Tesco Drinks Awards. Very dark translucent black, malted head which lasted nicely. Strong espresso flavours, coffee on the nose and some burnt toffee with some malts forcing their way through from the background.

500ml bottle from Tesco, Ashford, Kent. Pitch black in colour with a dense caramel head; a rich coffee and chocolate aroma. Smooth and creamy chocolate flavours to start, then developing a dry texture with coffee and cherry flavours coming through, leading to sweeter finish. A warming and satisfying porter.

A very solid porter featuring smokey, acidic roasted flavours with spices. Light bitterness from burnt malts nicely balanced with hop bitterness. I’d buy again.

This is a stunning beer. Very dark with a rapidly disappearing tan head. Very creamy with lots of chocolate and roasted malt. Also a little bit spicy which compliments the beer very well. Quite thick and viscous. Fantastic porter.

Clearly a Williams Bros beer - somehow they all have the same offbeat flavour. Black with creamy tan suds, mouthfeel light for a porter and spicy hops more prominent than expected, but none the worse for it. Delicious maltiness, some fruit flavours, liquorice, and the tingling ginger on the finish. smooth and light on the palate, spicy hops and ginger linger on the finish. Great crap weather beer!
