(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Fruit-accented and quite sour nose with notes of cassis and raspberry. Bitter and slightly sourish tart flavour, light bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Mild (cara-)malty base on the one side with present acidic fruity accents which turn abruptly into a dry, bitter-tart and fairly hoppy finish. Works for me. 06.XI.09

Sampled from bottle@Cardinal, Stavanger. A fingerthick layer of beige bubbles covering a hazed, amber colored body. Inviting aroma from the berries; fresh and slightly tart with a note of lactic acids. A whiff of grainy malts in the background. Dryish, fresh berry flavor. Subdued grainy malts, sour-sweet at first, dries up towards the finish. Discreetly spiced, mildly hopped. Body is light, without being thin. Finish is acidlous fruity, dry malty and rather short. Overall, an interesting and easy drinkable fruit beer.

16.9 oz bottle courtesy of an area distributor who may have been considering carrying this in th U.S. Has a slightly hazed, deep amber appearance with an average size white head and a fair amount of lacing. Fruity aroma dominated by berries, with a sweet malt accent. Tart, slightly sour, grainy, modestly hopped taste. Medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. Short lived finish with a peppery/spicy aftertaste.

Medium offwhite head. Pale coppery body. Malty strawy raspberry aroma, very harmonic, with milky notes. Sweetish watery earthy raspberry taste with strawy notes. Harmonic. Mid-bodied. Mild, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish metallic raspberry aftertaste with roasty notes. Harmonic, but too watery. The raspberry is not properly integrated, and I don’t like the aftertaste. (0.5l bottle, Centra, Oslo.)

50 cl bottle at home, bought at Vaaland, Bryne. Light amber clear color, with a hint of reddish, moderate and disappering white head. Aroma is berries and grainy malt. Flavor is berries and malt, nice sweetness, fine bitterness; I guess it comes both from the berries and hops.

500ml bottle from Centra Colosseum Park, Oslo. Tiny, white head over a clear, golden-amber body. Ginger-like berries to the nose. Taste of tart berries and a rounded ginger touch added by earthy malts. Refreshing and drinkable, but has got some impression of a soft drink (room 813, Hotel Munch 17.11.2009).

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a small white head. Sweet fruity aroma reminds me of "Julebrus" soft drink as sweet as *¨^>. Taste is sour/sweet, ends rather quick.

Pink/brown in colour with a qickly disappearing head. Smell: fruitiness Taste: wild strawberry soda (a soft drink in Sweden), grapefruit, sweet but a bit sour! It’s nice with fruity beers, this one didn’t really carry out the tayberry flavor. I guess that more chilled and in the summer is the best combination. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 01-05-2009
