(bottle) Clear, ruby amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Slightly sweet and toasted malty aroma with a tinge of acidity, caramel and citric hops. Light-bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malt-accented, toasty base with hints of caramel and liquorice, accompanied by a fruity hops-character; quite dry, toasty and slightly fruity and hoppy finish. Not overly challenging but still a decent brew. 03.XI.09

AROMA Light: bread, grass, woody, very pleasant. APPEARANCE Red, clear, nice head when poored, but disappears completely. TASTE Medium sweetness balanced with medium bitterness. Not as nice as its aroma. PALATE Full bodied, creamy, lively, long sweet finish, almost fruity. OVERALL Starts off well, but leaves less of an impression. Drinkable, but not one to search for.

Bottled. An amber beer with a light tan head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops, citrus as well as some malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, spices, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle, 4.3%. Papery and grassy hop aroma. Clear red copper colour. Very small white head. The flavour starts off papery, not so bad. Then it turns slightly sweet and malty with a little berrylike note, perhaps red berries. Medium bitterness, slightly rough.

Bottle from my local Tesco. Good malty brew with an underlying hoppy fruit, both on the nose and palate. The finish has a rather harsh bitter edge.
