Tangily hoppy and orange-accented but on this showing, lacking the zest of it’s bottled counterpart. Too much grainy malt and alcohol. Still pretty tasty, mind. downender (2601), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England

Fruity hoppiness, orangey, lemony, lemongrass. Mouth is malty and harshly brackish, some chestnut tones and some floralness. Bit one-dimensional in the mouth, but with a really nice lasting sweetness to balance. Nice. wyzzywyz22 (791), Wirral, Merseyside, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 14, 2009 Cask, Rigbys, Liverpool. Clear n’ golden with a minimal off white head. Aroma was quite fruity and fresh with some decent hoppage, themes that continued on into the flavour. A wee bit lifeless and lacking real clout on the whole but not without some appeal.
