| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Bomber pours out mahogany with lasting tan head and some lacing to boot. The aroma is toasty, roasty, caramel, toffee, some oak, a snoot full of hot bourbon and molasses. What a wonderful aroma with the varied roasty notes mixing seamlessly with the solid barrel odors. The taste is much the same with toasted toffee, roasty caramel, creamy caramel and molasses. Near the finish assertive bourbon and oak notes mix in and take this into the after taste. Very well done with a pleasing balance of beer and barrel notes being achieved. SuzyGreenberg (1367), Seattle, Washington, USA
