Commercial Description:
A contemporary pale ale, showcasing American malts and hop varieties. An assertive but not overpowering ale for the American Pale Ale drinker. In the 1970’s American Craft-Brewers created the microbrewery revolution, and it was “American Pale Ale” with it aggressive use of hops and creative grain bill that lead the charge.

12 oz bottle. Pours to a hazy, deep copper color, with a thick, creamy, white head, and a good carbonation. The nose on this beer is excellent with fragrant aromas of citrus hops, and pale malt sweetness. The palate is firm, with good pale malt flavors, with flavors of candied citron, and touchs of estery fruit. This beer finishes with more good pale malt up front, then ends with a zesty, citrus hop bite that lingers. Very well done APA, which strikes a good balance of malt and hop character. A nice enjoyable pint of beer, and a very food friendly beer as well.

Off taps Capital Ale House. Slight fruity and caramel malt aroma and touch of earthty hops. Clear amber with slight off-white head. Toasty caramel malt sweetness with robust bitterness and fruity yeast notes. Dry finish with a medium body and moderate lingering bitterness.

Pours a bright clear copper colour with a medium sized white head. Well carbonated, aromatic- with floral, honey and fresh hop character. Pleasent, astringent mouthfeel, citrusy and overall well balanced brew.

This brew was a really nice surpirse im my collection. What a delicious tasting beverage during the heat of summer!! Appearance is a nice amber look with a wonderful aroma and head. Bitterness in the front with maltiness to follow. The finish is delicious with only a touch of bitterness in the end. A great warm weather beer. Prosit!!

Pours a nice ruby/amber color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is a lot of citrus hops with a bit of bread and yeast. Flavor is nice. A good bitter bite on the front, but not to heavy, and the malt seems strong enough to deal. Just a touch metallic and that "penny in your mouth" flavor lingers a bit to long. Decent Pale ale though. Would drink again.

Bottled, and a gusher. Poured hazy medium orange with a huge cap of beige head that settled down to 1/2". The aroma picked up sweet, dusty lighter fruits, caramel, and a bit of detergent.. something was wrong. The flavor confirmed my fears.. some lighter fruit skin sourness joined wet grains and some floral notes.. the sourness was tacky and stuck around on the finish with an unpleasant bitterness for far too long. Medium-bodied with very high carbonation and sourness that shouldn’t have been there.. not good at all.
