Dogbrick (2816), Columbus, Ohio, USA Mar 2, 2006 Sample at the brewpub: Dark amber color with a thin light beige head with pretty good retention. Thin rings of lacing. Aroma consisting of roasted malt, hops and brown sugar. Medium-bodied and smooth with a nice balance between sweet malt and resinous hops. Slight nutty character too. The finish is smooth and flavorful, mostly sweet caramel and malt. Some lingering spice flavor too. Very good overall.
