I’m sad as this is the last of the African beers, but glad I got to share them in the company of my friends: Poured a dull yellow colour with a large white head. Aroma has the corn and malty notes, but a decent amount of carbonation keeps this brew lively and fairly refreshing. Mildly bitter hops throughout. Finishes with slight grassiness. Thanks again John for the beers, it was fun!

Had a number of these in Etosha. Golden body with rocky head. Malty and sweet nose. Taste of malts, some lemon. Hoppy in the finish with slight bitterness. Great with the braai.

The can looks a bit cheap, the beer in the glass is okay. Starts mild, like water, the finish is a bit sourish, notes of lemon. Not bad.

Decent lager with more malty taste than Windhoek lager. Nice alternative when you need one.

Can. Light, bright golden with a large rocky head that gives way to a thin layer of lace. Aroma is clean and malty with some pleasant floral hops. Medium bodied. Flavour of moderately sweet and slightly grainy malt with a subtly hopped finish. Not a complex beer by any means, but it’s actually not too bad - comparable to some mainstream Euro-lagers, and much better than most North American light lagers.

(Can 44 cl) Pours a clear golden with a white, lacing head. Fairly clean, malty nose. Medium body with light - but clean - sweet malt notes and a whiff of floral hoppiness. Discreet bitterness only. Very drinkable. 120508

Goes down quite easy and very conveinently in a can. Not my first choice though when in the store, but a good substitute if there is no draught on tap.

Another weak lager, Very easy going not a speacial beer. Need to be more hoppy for better taste.
