johnnyola (12), Australia Mar 21, 2008 Brought over with a friend of mine, been stored for some time. A refrshing beer with some wheaty tones. A medium bodied beer, with a short finish
MBison (445), Southern Highlands, Australia Nov 27, 2008 Bottle (330ml). Poured muddy brown with an averaged sized, loose, rocky, off-white head which diminished almost immediately. A dusty aroma with sweet malts, brown sugar, odd cola-like notes, stale bread and some cobwebs to top off the mess of an aroma. Flavor was a light bitterness with notes of mineral water, sweet biscuity malts, caramel and subtle fruitiness (cranberries). Foamed excessively in the mouth - similar to putting a berocca tablet on your tongue. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation (far to over carbonated, more so than a soft drink), a watery texture and a short finish. jkm (154), Australia Sep 18, 2007 Cloudy orange in colour with a thin frothy and rapidly disapating white head. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderate bitterness and a long-lasting crisp bitter finish. Refreshing. DuffMan (2139), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Aug 9, 2007 This was the second-hardest micro to find while tramping around Tasmania. Finally caught up with it a grocery store on Wellington Street in Hobart. Briskly carbonated, champagne-like really, with loads of resinous peppery hoppiness in the aroma. I’m not sure what they use as malt, but the flavour profile was quite wheaty and a little estery (presumably from the yeast in the bottle), with lots of peppery hops dominating. The over-carbonation was distracting and made this less enjoyable. Interesting enough though. Thylacine (179), Tasmania, Australia Jun 19, 2007 A good frothy, off white, head initially but quickly diminishing to a thin layer. Very little lacing. Indistinct faintly hoppy aroma. Clear and amber in colour with a light to medium body and a nice, moderately bitter and lasting aftertaste. This is a bottle condition ale, unpasturised and unfiltered and yet there was no sediment in the bottle.
