12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a clear golden color with a large off white head that faded pretty quick. Lively intial carbonation. Very light lacing. Aroma is light grain malt and a tid bit of herbal hops. Flavor is lightly sweetened grain with very little hop presence. Has a little more body than most Pale lagers. I can’t detect any major faults with this beer. Overall, it’s worth a try. The label scores extra points with me.

Clear golden pour with a foamy white head that leaves spotty lacing. Light toasted malt and a hint of hop bitterness in the aroma. Flavor is much the same with a bit of grain and a touch of sweetness. No off flavors at all, just a rather boring, but light and refreshing brew.

03-Jun-08 (12-oz bottle: Purchased 12-May-08 for $1.79 at Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA) For a self-proclaimed "American Lager", this is actually quite flavorful. The minimally sweet, toasty and grainy malt base is quite substantial for the style and tastes like an unsweetened breakfast cereal. The floral and spicy hops are flavorful and mildly bitter, and offer a nicely balanced overlay for the malts. Some light honey in the background. The nose boasts dry, toasted grains, again like cereal, along with a bit of honey sweetness. The medium weight body is surprisingly heavier than expected and quite noticeably shows no drop-off at all in the long, almost chewy finish. Carbonation is medium-high, which is required for a fuller bodied lager like this one to still be refreshing. Medium-golden in color, but it pours a little hazy. The off-white head is bubbly and short-lived, settling to a wide ring and filmy layer. While this beer doesn’t particularly appeal to my tastes, it still stands out as a quality brew; lots of flavor, nice balance, and good body.

12oz bottle. Wet grain aroma but nothing offence like skunk or metalic which was good. Clear gold body with white head. Flavor and palate smooth easy summer drinkable beer. Was out in the heat for couple of hours and this one went down the hatch fast.

Looks like AZ is the test market for this one considering that only scores are from AZ. A cold pour is golden in color and produces a decent head. The lacing is somewhat thin. Aromas of malted bread. Medium nectar with good carbonation. The flavor is really not that bad with malted grains and mild biscuiting. There a mild bittering component. It’s very smooth. Not bad.

Pours a deeper straw color. White head falls quickly with some lacing. Aroma is sweet and ricelike. Flavor is mostly corn or rice. No real bitterness, but a lingering corn flavor. Body is halfway decent though. Not a very good beer.
