Unclear hazy medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, wheat, wood, oak, smoke - peat. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Smoked. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (160508)

May 28, 2008 Muddy brown with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, some peat smoke and a hint of bubblegum. Sweet flavour with both peat and fruity notes, rather dry finish.

Pours deep, dark mahogany with a medium, fizzy off-white head. Aroma is bubblegum, caramel, toffee, sweet liqourice. Fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, lightly roasted, some caramel, wheat, toffee and black currants at the finish.

May 20, 2008 Draught at Cockney Pub. Dark brown - white head. Berries, fruity, light roasted, licorice, chocolate, sweetness, solbær, light yeasty, caramel, light wheaty, spicy. Not my style !!!
