Bottle from Wine Warehouse on 08/15/2009. Slightly cloudy brown body with a medium frothy off-white head and some light chunkiness. Big spicy aroma, with some fruitiness and a bit of floral notes. Big smoke flavor, with some fruity and floral notes. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

Nov 7, 2009 On tap at Cole’s. Introduced to me as an alt. Opaque dark colour with a good head. Essentially the sourish finish dominates. Above average mouthfeel. Very complex,sourish with the smoke characteristics and some dark fruit in the secondary. Leaves lace. A pint is a full meal.

Oct 25, 2009 Draft @ Coles, Buffalo NY. Pours a murky brownlots of floaties, bigfluffy tan head. Aromas of brown bread, caramel malts, peat & smoke. Taste is wood, smoke, roasted malts, a wierd tanginess that cuts into the smoke component. Medium mouthfeel. Different & intersting but one is more than enough

Oct 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours a brune body with an off white head. Malty caramel notes, nutty, cinnamon spicy with a hint of smoke. Chewy smoked body with a bitter earthy dry tone. Decent offering.

Sep 5, 2009 Bottled. Rubyish brown colour with small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts, some slight smoked wet wood as well as mild herbal notes as well as some earth cellary notes. Flavour is sweet, but roasted malts along with some smoked wet wood and mild grassy/earthy notes.

Appearance: dark brown with mid plus top. Mid thick haze. 3+
Nose: citric , leafy bodied sides with milder aromas in centre.
Flavor/Palate : soft bodied , citric sides bit sweeter inside. Fruity leafy character. Off finish.
