Bigmmartin (366), Dayton, Ohio, USA Jul 6, 2008 Bottle showed up in my fridge one day and I have no idea how or why it got there. But, after awhile of looking at it, you convince yourself to give it a shot. It’s basically a bud light with a dark amber color and a little more flavor (however awkward of a flavor it may be). subcell (95), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA Jun 30, 2008 This beer has a nice amber color and an excellent sweet vanilla aroma. On tap it is pretty good but in the bottle tasted like I was drinking vanilla extract. If you find it on tap... go with it but avoid bottles unless you really, really like vanilla! FlyFishingBob (14), Clinton Township, Michigan, USA Jun 10, 2008 This tastes too much like vanilla. I hardly recognized it as a beer, and I pounded the last five in the six-pack just to get rid of them. I will not buy this again. twindog (69), Hampstead, Maryland, USA Jun 5, 2008 this beer is just a ok beer for me not to mush to talk about kind of a light beer very little od a head on it , a little sweet this is not a beer that i would not drink again it really should be a little higher then overall 16 percentile TheKeg (23), Louisiana, USA Jun 3, 2008 I arrived home with a six pack of this beer, not really knowing what to expect. You can smell the vanilla in it, but it’s faint compared to the vanilla taste you get in the beer. Nice color to the beer. It definitely is not as bad as the overall percentile suggests. You may not love it, but it’s a decent brew. RSB11069 (2), USA does not count May 25, 2008 Not as bad as the rest of the ratings here would have prepared me for. Aroma is kind of weak, which makes the amount of flavor even more surprising. Not going to hate it for being an AB product, you know what... it was good. dlihcsnatas (50), Texas, USA May 25, 2008 From the moment the bottle was opened the vanilla aroma was there. The taste is that of malts and vanilla. WIth the thickness and that wonderfull vanilla flavor this one goes great with warming up next to a fire on a cold winter night. Last winter I purchased as much as I could get my hands on and hope to fill my refridgerator next winter. cking (1012), North Canton, Ohio, USA May 13, 2008 Born on 10/19/07, the nearly 7 months in the bottle may have done this beer some good as it came off as nicely blended and aged. A familiar yet strange aroma of bread, vanilla, and milk with a faint sour tinge. Light amber pour with a thin swirling head and spots of lacing. Mellow and creamy on the palate with a pleasant finish and good aftertaste. Pretty good in the flavor department. Doughy malt and sugar cookies are tasted. The vanilla is well integrated, comes off as just the right amount. A sweet beer with some holiday spiciness. Calm and enjoyable. I may seek this one out for next year’s release to try it fresh.
