colts9016 (198), Idaho, USA Aug 5, 2007 A thin head that is tan, it quickly dissipates. The color is dark amber with carbonation bubbles. The aroma is toasted malt, a slight hint of bourbon and vanilla. The taste is malt and vanilla with hints of bourbon. The mouth feel is watery and thin. There is hardly a finish on it. Dorwart (1807), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA Jul 14, 2007 Thin head which dissipates quickly. Light carbonation. Nice cookie dough aroma with some caramel and vanilla. Color is a dark mahagony brown. Flavor is big time vanilla and cream soda. Totally synthetic tasting. Dry and wretched. Not sure if I can finish this bottle. Finishes greasy and grassy (rotten grassy). Not a brew that I would ever try again. redlem (1155), Illinois, USA Jun 15, 2007 Saw this stuff all over the bars I visited through-out the winter, especially the tap handles. A medium dark colored beer typical head for a macro. A subdued aroma of weakened holiday spices. Taste was below average, a not so secure watering hole. Not worth the advertising dollars. demitriustown (689), Shelby Township, Michigan, USA Jun 8, 2007 12 oz bottle on sale: Cinnamon, nutmeg, some sort of funky aroma, a bit of malt and that’s about it. Appearance is an amber color with a thick off white head that lingers around for a while. Taste is big on the vanilla, quite overpowering and heavily spiced. Overall, This beer is all over the place. Not a good beer. Booooo Beerlando (2283), Orlando, Florida, USA May 24, 2007 Poured from a tap at a wedding I attended. Uncommonly red in color. Strange mix of vanilla and nut flavors. VERY sweet. TOO sweet. Seems like they just mixed a bunch of sweet junk together without regard to structure or balance. edden (927), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA May 23, 2007 4/14/07: Bottle. Red-brown body and slightly hazy. Sugary malt nose. Bubble gum, caramel and molasses flavors. Finish is sweet, burnt and caramel. OdinUSMC (7), Poquoson, Virginia, USA does not count May 22, 2007 First off, shutup. I love this beer. I only got it at first because we built a snowman and this looked hillarious in its hand. But once I actually drank one with my snowman I found out why he liked it. ITS FANTASTIC! Especially for being made by AB. Notes of burbon and vanilla infused with some other taste that I can only describe as "Snow Nymph Blood". Easy drinking at a good price. Stock up in November for your own snowmen. superd44688 (49), Canton, Ohio, USA May 19, 2007 Amber body with touch of vanilla aroma(couldn’t really pick up the nutty smell) with a vanilla aftertaste. Overall ok
