Bottle poured dark amber with a nice head. Aroma is sweet and nutty with a hint of vamilla. Flavor is sweet malts, caramel, vanilla and fruits. Not bad.

12 oz. bottle. Sweet vanilla and nutty aroma. Amber body with decent head. Had a carbinated sweet vanila cream soda flavor. Had a vanilla sweet aftertaste on palate. A warming effect of the alcohol so could be a winter warmer if on sale.

Bottle and served in my Unibroue glass: Pours a deep reddish brown with a quickly fading head and zero lace. The aroma has notes of vanilla, raisin, prune, caramel malts, liquorice, and heavy yeast esters. Then I took a taste...WTF!...It taste like a bad Coke and whisky mixed drink with no good bourbon character, just booze and sugary sweet syrup. Cloy and a complete mess. Dumped more than half the glass and now attempting to wash to taste out of my mouth. ARGGH, maybe too old, I dunno? The last of my mixer sixer, thank goodness that is over, but u gotta do what u gotta do sometimes.

12oz bottle from Degarth, thanks again.

How is it this is a cask ale from a bottle? I don’t get it. Copper color with no head. The aroma is sweet and really not too bad. I get some dark fruitiness, some wood planks, vanilla (or cream soda) and faint smoke. The flavor on the other hand starts off tasting like a soda. Then it moves into a bourbon flavor. Seems to taste only vaguely like beer with a hint of dark fruitiness in there somewhere.

The aroma wasn’t bad. And for the first few beers I liked the taste. but after a few, the vanilla tasted a bit too generic. It became more like a cream soda. Not bad, I enjoyed a bought a few sixers while available. The bourben taste was kinda there at first, but then quickly covered by the vanilla.

Bought a 6 of this on sale. Had no idea it was an AB product. I didn;t care for it, but I like my beer to taste like----beer. My wife didn;t mid it, and she hates beer, so it may be a beer for the ladies. Give me a good lager over this any day. Not bad for AB, though.

12 oz bottle. Tastes like Vanilla Pepsi on steroids. No bourbon hints, no woody flavors, nothing but artificial vanilla. Pretty fakey and pretty much a joke. Ahahaha...at least TRY and make a "bourbon aged" beer taste like it somehow.

12 oz bottle from xnoxhatex. Pours a reddish brown color with no head. Nose isn’t bad kind of artificial, but at least an attempt with spices, lots of brown sugar, bourbon, and vanilla. But the flavor, whew this gets bad pretty quick. It tastes like a watered down whisky and coke. Bourbon, cola, spice, and brown sugar. Just as the lame as the label is the beer inside is really even worse.
