Apr 23, 2007 The aroma wasn’t bad. And for the first few beers I liked the taste. but after a few, the vanilla tasted a bit too generic. It became more like a cream soda. Not bad, I enjoyed a bought a few sixers while available. The bourben taste was kinda there at first, but then quickly covered by the vanilla.

Apr 23, 2007 Bought a 6 of this on sale. Had no idea it was an AB product.
I didn;t care for it, but I like my beer to taste like----beer. My wife didn;t mid it, and she hates beer, so it may be a beer for the ladies.
Give me a good lager over this any day.
Not bad for AB, though.

Apr 14, 2007 12 oz bottle. Tastes like Vanilla Pepsi on steroids. No bourbon hints, no woody flavors, nothing but artificial vanilla. Pretty fakey and pretty much a joke. Ahahaha...at least TRY and make a "bourbon aged" beer taste like it somehow.

Apr 11, 2007 12 oz bottle from xnoxhatex. Pours a reddish brown color with no head. Nose isn’t bad kind of artificial, but at least an attempt with spices, lots of brown sugar, bourbon, and vanilla. But the flavor, whew this gets bad pretty quick. It tastes like a watered down whisky and coke. Bourbon, cola, spice, and brown sugar. Just as the lame as the label is the beer inside is really even worse.

Apr 10, 2007 Pours with a thin golden head, tastes like what you would expect from AB, but with a very strong cream soda aftertaste, its quite good if your looking for a beer that tastes like cream soda, but otherwise its bland tripe.

Apr 9, 2007 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a pretty, warm, dark amber golden with a small, yellowish head. Odd, sweetish vanilla aroma. Medium body - perhaps even a bit watery - with a very soft mouthfeel. Odd, artificial, perfumy notes with a hint of vanilla. Bourbon?, not really - and no bitterness either. A strange brew. 260307

Apr 9, 2007 On tap at RFD in DC. Asked the bartender what it was, but he didn’t know. Should’ve known this would be terrible when I saw it was from St. Louis on the menu. Color was reddish. No smell. Tastes like someone took some sugar and fake vanilla and threw it in some macro lager. That said, I’d rather have the plain old macro lager. Worst beer I’ve ever had I think.

Apr 5, 2007 Boo this shit sucks. Its a pitiful attempt at making a craft beer, but what else would expect from AB. Id rather drink Bud Light.
