Orange-honey color with a huge head so big that the bartender had to pour it 3 times. Slight floral nose. Flavor better than buttwiper with a slight cor base. Odd essence of a Belgian wanna-be, quite different than a typical A-B product. Watery palate with no suggestion of bourbon at all. graham515 (424), Houston, Texas, USA

The aroma was of hand soap and the taste left in my mouth was much the same. I’m glad I only sampled this and didnt have to drink an entire pint. MIBRomeo (1965), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 19, 2006 Odd aroma reminded me of bud but poured a darker carmel color w/ a nice little head on it. Palate was fairly decent, some ok coating, and things. Flavor was a pleasant surprise much better than expected some rice notes but a good amounts of carmel and some light vanillas in the finish. I really didn’t pick up much of the bourbon barrelling. Scubatrip (388), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 18, 2006 On tap, poured a semi-clear crimson with little head. Smells lightly of vanilla and tastes distinctly of the same. It actually tastes light vanilla yoghurt. I thought this was a pretty good one, but am pretty disappointed now that I find out it’s A-B. incutrav (576), Woodbury, Minnesota, USA

It tasted like vanilla and booze to me and was not tasty. realizing that is is made by AB is not good either. i still have 5 left, so i will have to pawn them off on xmas visitors! | 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Bottle. Head dimishes pretty quickly leaving only a brown body. Flavor is nothing but vanilla extract and caramel. A really horrid experience. Who says you need more than an ounce to rate a beer? Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 17, 2006 12 oz bottle. Clear amber with a beige head. Sweet caramel and vanilla nose, light sweet bourbon notes. Smells kinda like one of those caramel candies with the white sugar center. Flavor is on the sweet side, vanilla and more mild sweet bourbon. Thin soda-like body. Vanilla really seems to take over in the finish. Weak flavor dooms what just might have been a fair beer. basher (12), murray, Kentucky, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Pure rubbish. Got this at O’Charley’s, on tap. Poured a lightish amber color, with a fairly tall head. Smelled of sweetened bourbon and vanilla, as mentioned. Taste is also as mentioned, very very sweet. Vanilla + Bourbon + Sugar = Nasty. Honestly the first taste was alright, but each one afterewards was hard to bear. Couldn’t even finish it.
