| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Dec 10, 2006 Well what can I say. It’s an AB product. My expexctations were obliterated at this attempt to offer a seasonal ale. It poured medium amber with a quickly diminiashing head with absolutely no lacing at all. The aroma was faint vanilla with light carbonations. Light body with no hops edtected. Very slight vanilla at the foretaste, and a hardly noticible slight malt at the finish that you had to hunt for. A dissappointing brew to say the least. I won’t say it’s disqusting, but I’ll never buy it again. Pass tis one up! Aubrey (2774), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 10, 2006 Clear and deep amber-orange. Thin, quickly fading head. Nose was reminiscent of sugar water and faint vanilla. Texture was thinner than I expected. Malts were rather one-dimensional; some toast. Vanilla notes were synthetic tasting/smelling. Plastic off-flavor was also annoying. Aftertaste was really bad, like a cheap cigar. I once said A-B could brew a good beer if they really wanted to; they just didn’t have the will. Perhaps I should retract that statement, because I’m beginning to think otherwise. LDawg (71), Rockport, Texas, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 10, 2006 This pours an attractive reddish copper color with a light beige head that audibly crackled as it diminished. My first reaction to the nose was medicine with an artificial vanilla and cherry extract added. The artificial feel of this beer continues into the taste. Fake vanilla extract, dusty cinnomin, oak, watery bourbon, and I still get a bad berry and white sugar sweetness. I went into this trying to ignore the anti A-B bias, but this isn’t very good. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 9, 2006 Had this beast out at the farm a few weeks back. It wast horrible but i wouldnt drink alot of it either. Alot of vanilla and bourbon flavors, though they didnt seem natural, more like artificial flavoring. weird brew bud, weird brew. valpoaj (362), Valparaiso, Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 9, 2006 Picked up this brew since I didn’t have a wide selection at the store I was at outside of the standard Bud, Coors and Miller...just cracked one open and was immediately overwhelmed by the strong vanilla aroma, which was remarkably pleasant. The bourbon ’hint’ is evident immediately upon hitting the palate, but quickly dissolves into a watery, flavor-lacking brew. Carbonation is high. After a few swigs, I took another gander at the bottle and noticed it was an AB product, which explains just about everything. Would question the ’limited edition’ tag as well...not the best, but would take this over a Bud or Bud Light any day and twice on Sunday... Zymologist (30), Lakewood, Ohio, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Dec 9, 2006 Dear Lord. I’d rather drink Bud Light. Did A-B pay people to rate this beer as high as it is? Tastes like Watkins Vanilla Bean extract, poured over a Gem Cream Soda and filtered through Peyton Manning’s jock (maybe he’ll do a commercial for this as well). I thought maybe a shot of rum would make this palatable. It did not.
