rocbyter (902), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA Jan 21, 2009 Malty aroma with a light amount of sweet tangy alcohol. Clear dark orange color with a small white head. Sweet beginning with a very string vanilla middle fading in the finish. Love the Vanilla flavor but after a few it gets kinda old. BrianHagmeier (257), Coralville, Iowa, USA Jan 18, 2009 Im supposed to not like this beer because its from a Mega-Brewery.Well kiss my ass, I like it. Its sweet but not to rich. Its got just a touch of vanilla and bit of zestiness and an amazing hops and sweet malt aroma. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jan 18, 2009 Date: 12/2/2008 Source:Food Lion Carmel dominated aroma with a touch of vanilla and not a trace of bourbon in the aroma. Clear dark golden with amber highlights. Caramel maltyness with some vanilla and very little bourbon or wood character in the flavor. Very clean finish for an ale. Cloying sweetness. Rather disappointing. Barrios (852), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jan 13, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a butterscotch color head with an orange amber body. Smells of vanilla and caramel. Tastes of vanilla and toffee. Haagnbus922 (7), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA does not count Jan 13, 2009 It was a fluk that I tried this beer, since my establishment had replaced my normal brew with it. This beer has a reddish caramel color to it and pour a nice off-white head. The beer has notes of different seasonal spices such as cinnamon which you have to look for, because, the dominate flavor is vanilla in the beer. However, I didn’t mind this as much do to liking the flavor of vanilla normally. The beer goes down easily and has a crisp finish. This is a good beer to serve people that don’t drink beer normally. nchomefinder (29), North Carolina, USA Jan 13, 2009 i was really excited to try this and then was dissapointed that i spent $6.49 after i tried it. its not a terrible taste just a lack of flavor. i can taste the vanilla and not much else. on a positive they go down easy.
