Jan 17, 2007 12 oz. bottle. This beer pours a nice amber color with a decent amount of head. The aroma is an over the top vanilla extract that really turns it up as you attempt to drink this swill. I had to basically chug this beer to get all 12 oz down. Horrible, avoid this one.

Dec 23, 2008 A caramel colored beer with a nose also of caramel along with vanilla and a bit of spice. Flavor is a disappointment. It offers very little caramel and only a dash of vanilla. Wood is the most dominant flavor theme and even that is faint. There is bourbon in here? Warming helped some but not enough.

Body is clear amber in color with medium carbonation. Head is thin and white and does not hang around long. Aroma is lightly malty and pleasant. First taste is bolder than expected and grabs you with a malt / wood flavor. It soon settles into a sweet spiced vanilla beer. I don’t catch bourbon at all. Feel is almost syrupy. This beer is interesting but, as usual, the attempt to be slick by AB causes the product to suffer.

Nov 26, 2007 amber color, beige head, nose is kinda boozy lotsa vanilla flavor is sweet i think the vanilla covers the booze, kinda thin. ok for who makes it but nothing wild.

Jun 19, 2009 Draft. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. nose is vegatal with a light grass and coriander. Palate is syrupy with a clean finish. Flavor is syrupy caramel with some light spicy cinnamony almost notes.

Dec 29, 2005 On tap, Dwyers Pub. They sure hid the fact it was AB pretty well. Copper colored beer with a frothy beige head. Milder aroma, vanilla, some malt, towards the sweeter end of things. Flavor seems a touch watered down, the flavors that were there were pleasant, vanilla, apricot, tiny bit of hops. Body was lighter, but pretty smooth. Not bad.

Dec 9, 2007 On tap. Pours dark red with thin white head. Vanilla syrup aroma, but not overpowering. Taste like a Xmas cookie with a hint of vanilla. Thick finish that was kind of chewy. I don’t see myself having another one of these.

Apr 11, 2007 12 oz bottle from xnoxhatex. Pours a reddish brown color with no head. Nose isn’t bad kind of artificial, but at least an attempt with spices, lots of brown sugar, bourbon, and vanilla. But the flavor, whew this gets bad pretty quick. It tastes like a watered down whisky and coke. Bourbon, cola, spice, and brown sugar. Just as the lame as the label is the beer inside is really even worse.
