12 oz bottle. Poured a clear dark amber color with a one finger off white head. The aroma was caramel malt and a bit of vanilla. The flavor was caramel malt with a little bit of hops. After the beer got warm, the vanilla appeared in the flavor.

Not that it’s hard, but this is probably the best A-B seasonal. The vanilla comes through a bit and it’s not terrible.

12oz bottle. Aroma of Frosted Flakes, vanilla, vanilla, alcohol and nuts. Pours Dark orange with a thin white head. The beer tastes like Lucky Charms. Not the marshmallows but the frosted "cereal" parts after they have been soaking in milk for a bit too long. Hardly any vanilla, certainly no bourbon influence. Thin, metallic finishing with some abrasive copper notes.

Another AB product gone wrong. Please stop producing these beers if you cant get them right.Way too thin in the appearance and the flavor. No bourbon present or alcohol warming.Very dissapointed.ReRate on tap at Sea World. The fresh tap is better.More vanilla notes and bourbon.Still is thin but a much better brew fresh.

Ok,you get a quick whiff of vanilla,a molecule of bourbon, then nothing, taste is a strange mix of weak vanilla, pale malt and again a seed of whiskey, and sweetness, taste like a bunch of weak clashing flavors that don’t complement each other. Name of brew is downright deceptive.

Sampled from a AB test batch bottle. Poured an amber sort of color. Plain Jane macro nose with just a hint of vanilla. This beer tastes like a typical AB product at first but has an unpleasantly cheap tasting vanilla cream soda finish and a bit of oak at the end. Tastes like they were scared to really try something different. Apparently this will be realized far and wide on draught fairly soon. I have no desire to drink this again.

Aroma has a light vanilla scent with a slight oak tone in the back. Color is a deep golden brown with light carbonation and a thin head. Taste is mild, sweet and caramely. Stating with a a light body it goes down easy with a smooth feel. Finish comes in sweet with a caramel taste that is backed by a nice vanilla flavor. In the after taste there is a faint oak flavor. As you drink it the vanilla flavor becomes more noticeable and it seems to become more caramel like. In the end I like, I think a Winter brew should be a little bold then this but considering that this is from Anheuser-Busch very impressive.

I really doubt this ever spent time in a bourbon cask. This is basically a mild or bitter beer with a ton of vanilla added. Notes of caramel, dusty cellar, cookie, and just a ton of vanilla extract. Honestly it is smooth, it is quaffable, it feels thin, and it is overly sweetened. I like vanilla and I like sugar so I can drink it but.....I am supposed to hate it because it is AB, which I am going to ignore.
