Commercial Description:
During even the coldest of weather, warm up to the smooth, robust taste of our Winter’s Bourbon Cask Ale. Full of rich aromas that you find in the winter months, hints of vanilla and flavorful hops, this is a beer that is great for pouring into a large tulip glass and enjoying with friends around a fireplace.

Boo this shit sucks. Its a pitiful attempt at making a craft beer, but what else would expect from AB. Id rather drink Bud Light.

Nice looking ale, amber.clear with a lovelly thick, tight bubbly tan head. The aroma is however decidely on the weak side, smells like a maltier Bud with a touch of wood. Definatlly strong vanilla flavours and again a touch of woodiness, maybe just a barest hint of bourbon. Kinda thin for the style. Its drinkable but this could have been so much better had they filled up the malts to give a more robust frame for the vanilla. OK try for A-B.

DECENT AROMA OF BOurbon and paired with a decent body it is fizzy yet a tad slick. tastes like bourbon and some artificial vanilla in saccharin. not beery in any sense and served complimentary by a trio of miserable morons at seaworld orlando.

flavor of vanilla. sweet and a bit malty with a very low touch of hops. not bad and the beer was appreciated complementary at seaworld fla. it is a good beer at first sip. slowly that beer enjoyment loosens and it does so with every sip.

12oz bottle, waiter didn’t tell me the brewery, label looked like a serious scam off still nacht from far away... but this was disapointing. clear light amber color, quick dark tan head. aromas of fake butterscotch like the masking aromas of chemical plants in NJ near the turnpike. flavor is imitation vanilla, imitation bourbon extract, phenolic and estery. I promised I wouldn’t rate a macro but this scam can’t go on unnoticed! watery mouthfeel.

12 oz bottle: lasting dark cream head w/ a medium amber crystal clear body. Initial aroma is alll about the vanilla with some light wisps of bourbon. Very clean of fruitiness and other aromas, almost including malt. There is a bit of a clean fresh ground 2 row malt. Flavor is all about the vanilla. No bourbon shows up until the very aftertaste and a crisp vanilla flavor finishes it out. Amazingly enough, the green apple flavor also comes through as well. Finishes on the dry side. High level of carbonation is prickly, heavy side of light bodied, smooth. This beer reminds of the Simpsons episode in which Homer and Barney tour the Duff brewery. They have 4 taps coming out of the wall (Duff, Duff LIght, Duff Dark, and Rasperry Duff). They show a cross section of the tap room and the serving tank and it all come out of the same serving tank). Very one dimensional with vanilla taking the lead. At least they think they’re headed in the right direction. I also like the fact that it is "Aged on Bourbon Barrel Oak" instead of actually in bourbon barrels...Tricky they are! Gets overwhelmed by Italian venison sausage, but handles it’s own w/ Polish venison sausage & stone ground mustard.

This wasn’t that bad for an AB product but as a "cask" ale it was served in a cold mug. Mouthfeel is very thin but it wasn’t too bad. Give it a try to change from the everyday macro beer.

Draft. The aroma is all vanilla. The body is clear reddish amber. The taste is all vanilla. Easy to drink, pretty smooth, but not that great. ::::2nd TRY:::: This is extremely offensive. Notes of alcohol and burning. -1.0

Light reddish gold body, little head. Faint vanilla aroma. Pretty much tasteless aside from a cloying, artificial sweetness and a slight hint of nutmeg. This sucks, even before I figured out it’s an AB product.
