To that end, this sweet and slightly off beverage makes sense. Corn and sugar sweetness. Way too vanilly syrup. Other than that, you can drink it. Medium mouthfeel.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 3, 2008 Bottle (12oz). Courtesy of tomthompson. Bright, clear coppery--amber, with a small fizzy off-white head. Sweet vaguely oatmeal malt, a little vegetal, with only a whisper of vanilla extract. The taste is very sweet and grainy, buttery, slick, flat and sugary, with a kind of Cap’n Crunch version of oakiness. Meh. Radek Kliber (3962), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Ruby red with amber, small creamy ring on top.
Aroma of laboratory vanilla, baking soda mixed with winter spices and pale raw dough.4,5/10
Chewy body, dough like in character with more of that artificial vanilla charcter. Confused formula. It seemed that brew master placed wrong things is wrong places that made poor example of winter holiday ale. Back to drawing table.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 9, 2006 This spiced ale pours a light red amber color from a 12oz bottle. Small to little head. Aroma is mild, some corn sweetness, some oak, some vanilla and some cherries. A light to medium bodied spiced ale. Malts are caramel and sweet with a touch of oak. Some vanilla. A touch sweet. A little thin a watery. There is a bit of oak/wood bite at the finish. The vanilla and the bourbon flavors are very subdued. There is little to no carbonation, which really doesn’t help any. Drinkable, but a little weird. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with some oak. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 24, 2005 This draft brew from the Bowlland bowling alley in North Fort Myers Fla poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized mostly diminishing light brown colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and caramel brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild brown malt. Its mouth feel is initially tingly with a lingering tingly palate. Its flavor contained mild nutty brown malt hop notes and was there was something else in the flavor that was hard to place. Wood? Nuts? Bourbon? What is it? A winter ale note?. Strange brew indeed! Anheuser’s good at building those artificial heads. The aroma is ... well, I don’t know quite what. The flavor is like vanilla pudding ... sweet and syrupy. I’m not a fan of vanilla in beer, and this is why. Rciesla (3720), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

Ya know i thought this was real good one night when i was drunk, i got marshmellow, caramel, bourbon, chocolate. But the next time i realized it was a poor attempt at chocolate bourbon beer. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 3, 2006 Dark copper color with a thin head. Slight bourbon aroma with a bit of chocolate. It tastes like water with vanilla extract. Not that it’s entirely terrible, just not decent beer.
