| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Bottle. Head dimishes pretty quickly leaving only a brown body. Flavor is nothing but vanilla extract and caramel. A really horrid experience. Who says you need more than an ounce to rate a beer? TomDecapolis (3196), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Bottle. Finally got a hold of this... Rusty amber pour with a tall cream colored head. Nose is vanilla, caramel, some oak notes and a hint of bourbon. Taste is big vanilla, caramel, some light bourbon and malt. The vanilla is a bit over the top. Sort of a sugary sweetness to this whole thing as well. Body is light, soft and creamy. The carbonation compliments this as a soft and whispy feeling - sort of dessert-like. Ends with more vanilla, caramel, sweet malts and a touch of bourbon. Good try for AB I guess, but nothing really special. PorterPounder (3147), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 21, 2006 Tallahassee, Fl - Market Square Liquors - 12 oz bottle. Medium copper, slightly sparking pour with a trailing white head. Faint traces of vanilla in the aroma, but not enough to get excited about. Hint of vanilla and cotton candy in the flavor. Searching for the bourbon but cannot locate it. Smooth, even mouthfeel . Finishes slightly hollow. Overall, decent and a nice Holiday touch from AB. GeneralGao (3063), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 30, 2005 Draught at Carolina Ale House in Durham, NC. Slightly hazy off white color with whitish head. Smells of malty vanilla and caramel. Vanilla and caramel are the dominant flavors. I don’t detect any bourbon. Not a bad beer, though. daknole (3000), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Where is the bourbon flavor or aroma? And the vanilla is barely noticeable. Not the worst beer on earth like most AB products, but not so great either.
