First off, shutup. I love this beer. I only got it at first because we built a snowman and this looked hillarious in its hand. But once I actually drank one with my snowman I found out why he liked it. ITS FANTASTIC! Especially for being made by AB. Notes of burbon and vanilla infused with some other taste that I can only describe as "Snow Nymph Blood". Easy drinking at a good price. Stock up in November for your own snowmen.

I love this beer. However, it has to be from the right place. I got it from a local pub and it was magnificent. Its a sweeter beer or at least it is after one or two pints. I also ordered this beer at a chain restraunt (smoky bones) and hated it. It seemed to have been overly carbonated so much so as to be undrinkable. In bottled format this beer was great. Unfortunately I can’t find a release date for 07 and wonder if it will be put out again this season.

Not as bad as the rest of the ratings here would have prepared me for. Aroma is kind of weak, which makes the amount of flavor even more surprising. Not going to hate it for being an AB product, you know what... it was good.

From the moment the bottle was opened the vanilla aroma was there. The taste is that of malts and vanilla. WIth the thickness and that wonderfull vanilla flavor this one goes great with warming up next to a fire on a cold winter night. Last winter I purchased as much as I could get my hands on and hope to fill my refridgerator next winter.

This is one of my favorites, I can’t wait until it come around again. I love the dark copper amber color, wonderful vanilla flavor and the clean finish.

Im supposed to not like this beer because its from a Mega-Brewery.Well kiss my ass, I like it. Its sweet but not to rich. Its got just a touch of vanilla and bit of zestiness and an amazing hops and sweet malt aroma.

Great bourbon beer. Fairly sweet oaky tast. Smooth as silk. Definately fired cask flavor. Thick mouthfeel. Thick coating on the glass, with a deep brown color. Thin head with larger sized bubbles.

I had this beer on tap and was very pleasantly surprised. I had no idea it was by AB. The aftertaste is definitely in the caramel region according to my taste buds. I don’t care for chocolate overtones in some recent beers I’ve tried, but caramel and vanilla is quite pleasant in a beer. I think the flavor could be a bit stronger, but overall, I was not happy to find the local pub only had it for the winter. I was looking forward to another tall boy. I guess it’s back to Bass and Killians, the only drafts there I really like. I’ll be keeping an eye out for this one again, though.
