One bottle. Not much head came from this pour. Has a dark brown color and aroma of caramel. Flavors of caramel with a strong amount of vanilla. Overall, not a bad attempt from AB as far as I’m concerned.

This beer pours a dark ruby red color with a very minimal off-white head. The aroma contained hints of caramel, vanilla and a slight hint of flowery hops. The flavors were of caramel malt, a touch of vanilla and sweet berries, with a just a touch of hoppiness. The body, though, was very lacking. It was almost like drinking water. There seemed to be no carbonation or texture at all. The finish was a little sour, with more tones of vanilla and caramel malt.

$7 draught served in a plastic cup at Nationwide Arena. Clear dark amber color with a compact beige head. Decide lacing despite the serving container. Light malt and vanilla aroma. Medium-bodied with mild hops, malt and caramel flavors. Nothing I would mistake for bourbon though. The finish is a little watery and sweet. Not sure what the goal was here but this needs some more work

This wasn’t that bad for an AB product but as a "cask" ale it was served in a cold mug. Mouthfeel is very thin but it wasn’t too bad. Give it a try to change from the everyday macro beer.

(draft) Crystal clear amber body with beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, nectarine/cherry, light vanilla/bourbon. Taste is moderately sweet, cherry, caramel, faint bourbon. Light body with low carbonation. Tried without knowing it was AB -- have to admit, it was better than I might have expected. They had enough sense not to bludgeon the beer with the bourbon.

Reddish pour with no head or lacing. The color is an artificially caramel. Vanilla predominates in the flavor, a thick mouthfeel with some bourbon notes in the aftertaste.

Tallahassee, Fl - Market Square Liquors - 12 oz bottle. Medium copper, slightly sparking pour with a trailing white head. Faint traces of vanilla in the aroma, but not enough to get excited about. Hint of vanilla and cotton candy in the flavor. Searching for the bourbon but cannot locate it. Smooth, even mouthfeel . Finishes slightly hollow. Overall, decent and a nice Holiday touch from AB.

Draft... Clear, amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is almost completely nondescript, but comes through with very mild notes of whiskey, caramel and dark, dried fruit (fig, raisin, prune?). Perfectly balanced flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter and hints at a mild, woodsy, tartness. Medium-bodied with a mildly creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Finishes thin and medium dry. Better than expected.
