12 oz bottle, born on Halloween 2007- poured transparent light brown with moderate carbonation. Aroma of malt, notes of vanilla and bourbon. Hits the mouth with a medium body, notes of fruit, vanilla, and bourbon- finish very lacking. Possibly AB’s best offering- and that’s not saying much.

This was sort of like a spicy Red. Hint of vanilla and spice, but watery and weak.

A pretty sweet and malty aroma. Pours a clear deep red in the glass with little-to-no head. Flavor is sweet with vanilla, the slightly higher alcohol content is barely recognizable and there is a little bit of spice from the bourbon. A little cherry flavor, too. Nothing really stands out though, it’s all just mashed together. Better than Beach Bum, not as good as Jack’s Pumpkin Spice. 12 oz. bottle.

12oz bottle: im trying to be fair with this beer even though i know its from the same brewery that puts out 1 out of every to beers drank in the US. the aroma is just slightly off not bad but not desirable. the appearance is the strong point on the beer nice amber color with a decent white head. flavor screams big brewery at me. its pretty watered down which i expected but at the same time there is a bit of flavor there now it wasnt so diluted with water i would be able to describe it a little bit better but the spices come through just a bit making this somewhat decent despite who it was who brewed it. i didn’t buy this beer but if it cost anywhere near what a microbrew costs i would never try it again BUT it at the same price as coors or bud it would be a decent social beer. im trying as hard as i can not to be biased here and this is why you have. a middle of the road big brewery attempt at something the micros have been doing for year, make good beer. A. Busch you got a lot of work to do if you want to make something worth drinking.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear dark amber color with a one finger off white head. The aroma was caramel malt and a bit of vanilla. The flavor was caramel malt with a little bit of hops. After the beer got warm, the vanilla appeared in the flavor.

Pours a dark gold, but smells strongly of a sweet caramel. Tastes like vanilla and bourbon. Is this beer? Cute name and concept, but a poor attempt to produce something drinkable.

Draught @ Kahootz - Pours amber with a small white head, aroma is dominated by sweet vanilla cream...flavour is like two parts Amberbock to one part cream soda extract...not entirely unpleasant, but much sweeter than I would normally drink, and I didn’t get any oak...

Date: 12/2/2008 Source:Food Lion Carmel dominated aroma with a touch of vanilla and not a trace of bourbon in the aroma. Clear dark golden with amber highlights. Caramel maltyness with some vanilla and very little bourbon or wood character in the flavor. Very clean finish for an ale. Cloying sweetness. Rather disappointing.
