8/21/2007: Winthrop Bush Wacker Ale is a deep golden (orange, really) color. The hoppy aroma is "green" and has some resin and citrus to it. The flavor is sweet and syrupy with a hop flavor and bitter bite in the finish. This medium-bodied beer has a mild amount of carbonation and is smooth and mellow. It is a decent amber ale overall.
