riversideAK (1653), Shoreline, Washington, USA Oct 3, 2007 Pretty sure this one was listend as an Amber Ale at the Fremont Oktoberfest, and I will rate as such. Amber in color with small head. Caramel malt and cereal grain aroma. Toasty and sweet flavor w a nice hoppy finish. Nice amber. Bradrcr (617), Renton, Washington, USA Sep 25, 2007 9/23/07 on draught at the Fremont Oktoberfest, Seattle. Aroma is sweet, caramel munich malt with a very low hop character. Appearance is a light tan/amber with a moderate off-white head. Flavor is pretty hoppy for oktoberfest/marzen, but this is still fairly malty, albeit a bit thin. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a medium carb feel. Overall, this is just a bit too different and feels a like a fairly amateur reinterpretation; the flavors just don’t blend well.
