Wisby Pils

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are malt and hops.

The beer pours gold with a 1 cm white head. The aroma is apple, honey, cut hay, and a touch of grain. Smells like a pils. Thank goodness for that--some of the other Swedish beer labeled as pils sure as hell didn’t. The mouthfeel is crisp, with nice carbonation. The taste is sour apple up front, with an excellent, hoppy pils finish. The aftertaste is wonderfully bitter. An excellent pils. I find it a bit more fruity than usual, but excellent nonetheless.

Bottle. High fluffy white but lasting head. Clear golden body. Powerful barley malt aroma. Mild and yet strong barley malt flavor with a fair amount hops bitterness. Low carbonation and a long bitter aftertaste. Better than my expectations. Simple but good.

Yellow color with a white head. Drinkable with an ok bitterness, but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours a yellow colour. Very thin on the nose - some refreshining hops. Flavour is light with some malts and refreshining hops.
