330ml bottle. Deep brown in colour with reddish undertones and a decent off-white head. Red fruit, brown sugar and spice aroma. Flavour had plenty of sweet malt, fruit and a decent bitter finish. Very good.

Reddish brown colored pour with medium sized head. Had a fruity nose to it with a sweet, bitter finish.

A lightly hazed dark brown ale with a thick light moka head. Aroma is vinous, with plums, molasse, and alcohol. In mouth, a classy licorice malt, with aniseed, butterscotch, some candy sugar, and nice alcohol and hops in finale. Very well balanced and put together. Bieropholie private import 2006. BB Nov. 2007.

Dark brown beer, creamy tan head. Very malty and sweet. Some light plummy malts and a bit of molasses. There is a very well-balanced flavour. Soft earthy spice, some soft herbal bitterness. Cherry fruitiness and a soft palate.

Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk. Pours a wonderful dark chestnut brown with a medium foamy-ish yellowish off white head. Aroma is sweet, lots of dried fruits, some nuts and chocolate as well. Quite lively mouthfeel with lots of little bubbles. Flavour has Belgian sugars, dried fruits, quite a bit of hazelnuts and a slight viniousness in the background. Rather long aftertaste with chocolate and fresh fruityness. This is a very drinkable dubbel.

Pours, as others have said, a medium reddish-brown color. Head is frothy, leaves good lace. Aromas of dried fruit and nuts. Body is medium, making this a highly drinkable feel-good dubbel.

Bottle, 33cl. Big foamy head. Nice clear reddish beer. Aroma is sweet and malty. Has some fruity notes. The flavor matches the aroma very well, with a sweet, fruity and malty flavor. The mouthfeel is a little thin and has notes of alcohol. Overall it is a medium beer.
