Decent retention, nice sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet of honey, cloves and green beans. Taste is semi sweet as well, moderately acidic- but fun, delightfully bubbly with a well carbonated mouthfeel. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 1, 2008 Bottle purchased at Corral Liquors in Granite City, IL. Pours a hazy gold with a thin, creamy, white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Some fine sediment floats suspended in the glass as well. The nose is a bright, citric, Belgian yeastiness and a mild mineral note over a clean, almost wheaty, light malt character. Light to medium-bodied and creamy-soft (again, almost wheaty) with a lightly dry mineral finish. Light and bright with yeasty and mineral characteristics backed by a just a touch of citrus. Not bad at all. MuttyD (93), Cambridge, USA
