Bottle from the First Houston Tasting
Pours an average cloudy yellow with an aroma of lemon juice and a touch of Sprite. Flavor is coppery wheat and dull lemon. Average mouthfeel. A bit too penny-like for my taste.

Aroma is something like honey and lemon. Very hazy gold color with a decent white head. Thin body with fizzy carbonation. Refreshing is the first impression. Something of yeast, spice and light caramel. Numerous fruit notes, like banana, citrus, peach. The finish is dry and citrus fruit. A really good drink.

12 oz bottle shared at Houston Beer Tasting. Pours a very light-yellow color with thin white head. Some lacing, but nothing special. A lemon-yeast taste, sorta reminded me of Duvel, but not as good. Still OK.

Tasty single. Lighter straw-colored body, and ample sized head. Smells slightly of honey on the nose. Clean honey flavored palate. Not as much grassy-ness in this as some others of the style. Tasty brew.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Hazy medium golden color with some floaters. Sweet yeasty aroma. Some hints of tartness, like a Granny Smith apple. Very dry. Some lemon and yeast with a bit of graininess.

First Official Houston Tasting. Thanks to BigGreen (BA) for bringing this. Pours a light, clear yellow color with a nice thin head. Nose of lemony-yeast that reminds me of Lemon Pledge. Flavor is crisp with that same lemony flavor. Nice effervescence with a slightly metallic finish.

Cloudy yellow with large, frothy white head. Lemon citrus, grass, toasted grain, yeast and flowers in the aroma. The flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Very dry finish. Light body with lively carbonation. Watery texture. The finish is tart with a slight hint of perfume. Refreshing. Very nice.
