Cloudy golden yellow color with a thinly-bubbled white head. Aroma interestingly sour with some fruit and bread dough. Flavor also sour with a bit of citrus that fades into a more expected sweet candied fruit flavor as it warms. Very light and refreshing.

Pours a cloduy straw/gold with a sizeable head that falls quickly and leaves a good amount of lacing on the way down. Nose is almost sour; possibly like a sweet dourdough. What an interesting flavor edge to it. There are many different things coming together here in an odd way, but not in a particularly light one. It is somewhat smooth, but definitely unfiltered. I get a bit of hearty yeast and a thick malt edge. Definitely a unique combination of flavors, but not something I would ever go back to. Feel is typical for the style.

33 cL, cloudy gold with a white head. Yeasty, grassy aroma. Slight sweetness becomes bready, moderately bitter, with a slight tartness. Touch of citrus. Medium body and nice balance. Well made and tasty, refreshing.

A Mes rate: Bottle from Lowlander. Hazy blonde with a pretty solid white head and loads of lace. Usual spicy Belgian blonde aroma but with some pleasant grassy hops. Crisp and reasonably sharp hoppy flavour. Herbacious with some definite lemon. Finish, although quick, is instantly refreshing. Lovely clean mouthfeel. Very drinkable and moreish. Good summers afternoon drink.

Very light footprint with tart, yeasty flavors. Wheat coming through showcasing a hint of mellon. As expected, there’s no hop presence. A bit of malt finish in back of palette. A bit of a "dusty flavor" (for lack of a better term). As the beer warms, it opens up revealing more of the orange. Not best I’ve had, but a very refreshing beer. Nothing overly distinctive about this beer, but is amazingly drinkable on a hot day. Doesn’t really hit the palette with a ton of flavor as I typically like, but that makes it a bit more of a simple, thirst-quenching, refresher. Nice.

White wine like aroma, fruity and bitter smelling. No head, lots of effervesence. Deep cloudy golden color. Very nice balance in the taste. Slightly alcoholic, malty flavor. Good hop character as well. Great full mouthfeel. I’d drink this again, very nicely balanced ale.

Draught at the Waterhuis aan de Bierkant, Gent. Creamy golden ale. Sweetish, fruity, spicy and orangey aroma. Sweetish and malty flavor with tart rhubarb twist. Gentle fruitiness and spiciness. Pleasant.
