Dark yellow colored with hazy appearance. Huge white head. Rich spicy aroma with yeast and lemony hops, some sugary-caramel note also present. Medium bodied, carbonated palate. Flavor is dry with hops and lots of yeastiness, aftertaste lasts with orange peel and lemon. I like this, very refreshing Belgian ale.

Bottle: pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of spice, some citrus, hops, a little soap. Flavors mostly light sweetness, a little citrus, with a little tail end bitterness. Not too bad but calls to mind a whit.

Poured hazy yellow/gold into the glass with a nice big white head. Aroma was wheat, orange and an herbal character. Taste was more wheat, a sweet orange in the middle, lemon, with a nice dry barnyard finish. I thought this was quite good. A good bit of sweetness in the middle, but the finish dry’s everything out. Nice and earthy. Good stuff.

A bit overrated?! Maybe even mis-classified?! Pours a hazy orange/ yellow, lingering dry lacy producing head. The aroma had decent complexity through the expected sugars, some citrus fruits, made me feel like I was sniffing a Hefe. The taste? Sure enough, it was a Hefe wanna be! Good beer, not as advertised though.

Pours orange with a good sized whitish head. The aroma has rich malt, some Belgian yeast and smooth orange. Medium body that’s got a rich feel and quite a bit of carbonation. The taste starts with mellow malt, is quite estery with banana traits, clove and dry spice. The finish adds some spiciness. A very enjoyable beer.

Medium fine-laced white shiny head. Hazy opaque orangey body. Fruity floral aroma with orangey herbal Belgian yeast notes. Clean and harmonic. Dry-acidic lemony floral taste with funky barnyard notes. Thinnish body. Clean, sharpish mouthfeel. Dry-acidic floral funky aftertaste with barnyard notes. Weird, interesting, and quite good. (0.33l bottle, Beer Palace, Oslo.)

Delicatley bitter, sweet flavor ending: honey and spices. Fresh and unusual.
