This is a very light, drinkable ale. Hazy yellow in color with a huge foamy white head, it’s got a fresh floral aroma with banana and lemon and clove scents. It’s got a light malty flavor along with those to match the sscents above, quite lively with spiciness. There’s a sparkling clean finish to this beer. I could drink a lot of them.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2004 Lemon-citrus cookie-dough aroma has plenty of banana and soft wheat. Opaque yellow-straw body with huge, pillowy, sticky white head that recedes slowly with fair lace. Some yeast in suspension. Sharp clove spiciness up front with a somewhat tart citrus-lemon character emerging from beneath and a pleasant finishing bitterness. Strong carbonation engages the tongue while body is medium-light with the typically thick, wheat-beer mouthfeel. Bottle. Thanks, DYCSoccer17! Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2004 Gold. Dull, slightly tart aroma of cereals, whole wheat, banana peel, sugars, peach and apricot. Strong, slightly sour and nutty yeast taste. Quite bizarre. Notes of clove, coriander yet I doubt it is spiced. So this is what is drunk during fasting times? I could get used to that.
