The flavor of this beer does not due the aroma justice. It was a magnificent hazy straw color with a white head. The taste was very smooth with just the slightest tart lemon flavor. The yeast taste was not pronounced but noticable in the mid of this one. A little to watery for my tastes, and the aroma set the stage so that I was dissapointed by the taste. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 3, 2004 Bottle: Excellent aroma. Very fruity. Pours a hazy yellowish-orange with a nice big white head with good retention. Excellent lacing. Flavor is mostly citrus, spicey and some fruit. Not as malty or as fruity as I expected based on the aroma. Slight bitterness in the finish. Very dry. Frank (1068), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Nose soft with a floral, baby powder kinda thing going on and maybe a bit of coriander. Very mild, light and fluffy, slightly watery. Only the faintest touch of bitterness in the finish. Refreshing but it’s lacking a little flavor. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 3, 2004 Straw color, chill haze, a fine white rocky head and light effervescence. It has a sticky lacy and retains a fine layer after the head diminishes. The aroma is primarily of hops and some malt, but is also tart with a, bready background. The flavor has a slight sweet start with a tart yet spicy middle and a crisp finish. Mouthfeel is light/medium bodied with an astringent finish. Lubiere (4546), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Dry and hoppy for a wit, with a phenolic end and metallic overtones...a bit too harsh for pleasant drinking... Fruit mash and yeast, but I really liked it. Mouthfeel is important to me and this one feels wonderful across the tongue. Sadly I think the distributor who carries it here dropped it. hopdog (5606), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
