To specify, lets say the best beer to drink easily at a terras with a little sunshine. I agree it isn’t the best beer if you compare it to the traditionel trappist, but I prefer a Witkpa to a havy trappist. luttonm (307), Belgrade, Serbia

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 29, 2008 Bottle, as Witkap Pater Stimulo. At first it seems like it’s gonna volcano out of the bottle, but only a small foam cap settled at the top of the bottle. When poured, it forms a massive, lasting, dense white head, with a very lively carbonation in the hazy, orange-golden body. The first aroma to escape the glass is banana. Slightly artificial maybe, and then comes lemon, coriander, pale malt, hints of yeast and a sugary impression. A bit weak aroma I think, but sure nice. Citrusy flavor with a good dash of coriander and peppery hops. Pale malt and alcohol in the background. Effervescent, dry and warm on the palate, with a lasting, citrusy, bitter finish with a coriander touch. A really refreshing beer, could easily down a few of these. (080829)
